This demo can be adapted to mimic the learner’s real desktop, with interactions that mirror their day-to-day activities and let them demonstrate what they do know, before plugging the knowledge gaps. Is AI Breaking My Brain?

A Rise-style course on cognitive offloading and learning in the AI age. It retains what learners put in across lessons, building it into a tailored artefact they take away at the end — so it stops being an information dump and becomes an experience they shape as they learn. It looks like Rise. Rise couldn’t build it.

How I work

  1. Understand first.The business, the audience, and what ‘good’ looks like. Ask before telling; listen before speaking.
  2. Design for the real world.Cohesive narrative, your sector’s language, your learners’ environment. Emotion where it earns attention, friction where it makes learning stick.
  3. Build without limits.AI-enhanced development means no authoring-tool ceilings — and no AI slop, because the learning decisions stay human.
  4. Measure what matters.No happy sheets. We agree upfront what “changed behaviour” looks like, and whether any blockers are the org’s to fix rather than the training’s.

Built the training function from within, turning a customer advisor role into a four-year design and delivery career.

Designed and evaluated training material, coached and mentored colleagues, and co-ordinated induction for new starters. This is where I first noticed that explaining the why behind a process was the difference between learners who struggled and learners who thrived.

Transformed a one-day induction into a six-month modular programme serving 600+ employees across multiple branches.

Delivered IT learning across a workforce of lawyers, secretaries and business support staff. Led training design and delivery for major system rollouts, and supported development of a talent management framework for secretarial staff.

Community Coordinator

NR2 Mutual Aid · Norwich

Led volunteer coordination across a community of 350 during lockdown, then pivoted into instructional design.

Following redundancy from Unitas I had planned to transition into instructional design. Then the pandemic hit. I coordinated over 60 volunteers, reached 350 members, and distributed 10,000 leaflets across the NR2 region before returning to my planned career move.

Designed and developed e-learning and accredited courses for retail-market clients. Partnered with cyber security and governance SMEs to create Storyline and Rise builds. Authored original content independently, including a course on unconscious bias.
